Case Study

Launched by GSV in 2019 with the acquisitions of CTS Software and MJM Innovations, Transit Technologies was built to modernize transportation management across public and private mobility networks. The platform provides a comprehensive suite of software and tech-enabled services supporting fixed-route, para-transit, micro-transit, and demand-response operations—powering more than 100 million rides annually.

Transit Technologies’ solutions span scheduling, dispatch, telematics, fare collection, and compliance, helping transit agencies and fleet operators optimize routes, digitize payments, and deliver more equitable and efficient rider experiences. Since inception, the company has expanded its reach through strategic acquisitions, including the 2024 acquisition of TripShot, a commuter mobility platform that strengthened its fleet management and first/last-mile capabilities.

Today, Transit Technologies serves over 4,000 clients and manages more than $6.8 billion in transit assets. Recapped by PSG in 2019, the company continues to scale its platform with a focus on operational continuity, cost efficiency, and accessibility—supporting communities and mobility providers across North America in delivering smarter, connected transportation.
