Clint Ward

Clint Ward joined GSV in 2022 to oversee the firm’s securities law and compliance operations. A seasoned compliance leader, Clint brings more than two decades of experience guiding investment advisory firms with a pragmatic and business-minded approach to regulation and governance.

Before joining GSV, Clint served as a compliance examiner at the S.E.C and as a compliance officer for several leading investment firms, including CIBC Private Wealth Management, Sterling Capital Management, and Keel Point. Known for his integrity, decisiveness, and collaborative leadership, Clint is adept at building strong relationships across teams to ensure compliance functions as both a safeguard and a strategic partner.

Clint holds a master’s degree in economics from North Carolina State University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas A&M University. A lifelong learner, he was drawn to GSV for its culture of accountability and impact—where every action contributes to building something meaningful.
