Prior to GSV, David spent five years at Accel-KKR as a growth equity investor, partnering with software and technology-enabled businesses through periods of scale. Earlier in his career, he worked at Roark Capital and The Carlyle Group, where he focused on buyout and minority investments in the consumer sector.

David received an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.S. with Distinction from Purdue University. He values time spent with entrepreneurs and believes that strong partnerships—more than initial valuation—ultimately drive enterprise value and long-term success. His investment ethos is simple and disciplined: trust both your initial instinct and your final instinct—and if either says no, don’t do the deal.
