Marc White joined GSV in 2024 as a Vice President on the firm’s deal execution team, where he focuses on evaluating, diligencing, and structuring investments across GSV’s platforms. He brings a blend of institutional investing experience and operational perspective, pairing financial rigor with a founder’s mindset.
Before joining GSV, Marc spent five years at PSG, where he worked closely with GSV on the full lifecycle of Property Brands and Therapy Brands, two of the firm’s most successful vertical SaaS platforms. Earlier in his career, he held investment banking roles at J.P.Morgan and Jefferies, gaining deep experience in M&A, capital markets, and technology transactions. Marc also served as the COO of Brahmin Solutions, a cloud-based MRP platform for manufacturers and distributors, where he helped scale operations and refine go-to-market strategy.
Marc’s investment approach emphasizes fundamentals—retention, margin, and cash conversion—as the foundation of sustainable value creation. He is particularly focused on opportunities in insurance distribution, where embedded fintech and AI are reshaping industry workflows. Driven by a belief that alignment is key to lasting success, Marc partners closely with founders to translate strategic vision into scalable, repeatable growth.

What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t wait until you feel “ready” and don’t be afraid of looking like you don’t have all the answers. The best growth and learning come when you stretch beyond your comfort zone.
What do you love most about being an investor?
What I love most is getting to partner with entrepreneurs who are building something lasting. Every deal is a chance to learn a new market, think deeply about what creates real value, and then help shape the strategy alongside great operators.
