Michael Tribble joined GSV in 2024, bringing over 15 years of leadership experience in go-to-market execution, revenue strategy, and sales operations across technology and SaaS markets. He specializes in bringing strategic clarity and operational maturity to misaligned GTM organizations—helping growth-stage companies that have plateaued under the weight of complexity or acquisition.

Before joining GSV, Michael held leadership roles with Newsela, Ministry Brands, Community Brands, and PetSafe, where he led high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and business analytics. He currently serves as the Interim Chief Revenue Officer for Inhabit, where he is driving revenue performance and operational maturity across a complex, multi-brand environment.

What advice would you give your younger self?

‍‍Prioritize consistency in everything that you do. It will beat out sporadic intensity 9.5 times out of 10.

Do you have a favorite quote or saying?

‍“Weniger, aber besser.”

This is an old German engineering term that means, “Less, but better”. Much of the world tells us that we have to add more, spend more, think more, consume more in order to improve. I like this phrase because it is a reminder to strip away the unnecessary parts of life and business and commit fully to those that lead us to toward the person and business we want to be.
