Will Overstreet joined Greater Sum Ventures in 2020 as an Operating Partner, bringing nearly two decades of experience in operations, go-to-market strategy, and technology partnerships. A former NFL linebacker turned founder and seasoned operator, Will focuses on accelerating growth within GSV’s portfolio by improving sales performance, optimizing pricing and contracts, and driving channel and strategic partnerships.
Prior to GSV, Will served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at GRIDSMART Technologies, where he helped guide the company through its acquisition by Cubic Corporation in 2019. Earlier in his career, he founded two companies—one a consulting firm for early-stage businesses—gaining firsthand experience in the challenges and realities of scaling from concept to exit.
Holding six patents and having 19 years of operating experience, Will brings deep expertise in aligning data-driven decision-making with commercial execution. He’s most energized by working with self-aware, low-ego founders who want to learn, collaborate, and win—believing that the best outcomes come from a shared commitment to growth and improvement.
