About

Bill Nix is a seasoned operator, investor, and deal architect whose experience spans investment banking, executive management, and private equity. As a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of GSV, he helps shape the firm’s acquisition pipeline, diligence process, and investment thesis—focusing on founder-led businesses with high scalability and recurring revenue potential.

A former founder himself, Bill’s journey into software began in the late 1990s when he built a rudimentary learning management system (LMS) that first served hospitals and then churches. Under Bill’s leadership, the LMS platform E‑Zekiel grew to serve over 10,000 organizations before merging with Ministry Brands in 2013.

From 2013 until 2016, Bill served as the CFO of Ministry Brands, where he led more than 30 strategic acquisitions and helped build the company from a nascent startup into a platform with significant scale.
