Lisa Stinnett is a veteran operator and investment executive with over a dozen years of C-suite experience in private-equity backed software businesses. As a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Greater Sum Ventures, she partners with founders and management teams to grow vertical SaaS platforms through disciplined M&A, integration, and operational excellence.
Before co-founding GSV, Stinnett served as the Chief Operating Officer at Ministry Brands, where she helped lead more than 30 acquisitions and integrations, shaping one of the largest vertical SaaS consolidations in the nonprofit and education sectors. At GSV, she has applied that same playbook across industries—leading the Operating Partner team in building scalable platforms in real estate, healthcare, and payments.
Stinnett also served as the CEO of GSV’s portfolio company Inhabit, a global PropTech platform, growing it into a category leader serving residential, commercial, and vacation rental markets. During her tenure, she led Inhabit through significant expansion, operational transformation, and continued market leadership, establishing the company as one of GSV’s most successful platform investments.
Known for her collaborative style and unwavering execution, she has earned a reputation as one of the leading female operators in private equity—driving growth not just through numbers, but through people, purpose, and disciplined stewardship.

Lisa is a Knoxville native, and attended the University of Tennessee where she studied retail and consumer sciences. With her husband, Justin Stinnett, Lisa owns and operates a family farm outside of Knoxville.
